Math- more work on un-FOILing

Social Studies- working on our oral presentations (books should be finished)

A&W (Y)- finished Food Inc. and started research on our food presentations (a movie, poster, powerpoint, discussion, etc.

Lunch- finished watching past 8th grade movie

Production (Y)- made more "door" movies an edited them, reviewed different shot types

LA (X)- wrote a reflection, and watched Whale Rider

Monthly Math Hour at the University of Washington

UW Math Hour Details

Coming up this spring professors at the Universtiy of Washington are hosting a math hour for middle and high school students. The next talks are all on Sundays- March 13, April 17, May 15 and June 5. Each talk is held on the university campus from 1-2 pm. Check out the link above for more information.

I am happy to give extra credit if you attend one of these talks! They look awesome and interesting, especially because they are geared toward students your age!
